While, I can appreciate the frustraition of many of the owners of Newtek
products.
(I am also waiting for my copy of Lightwave 4.0 for my Alpha to come in), I
will try to give a straight answer to this question...

Call 1-800-843-8934 and ask for Brian Thomas. The last time I talked to him.
He will help you if you want to be a Newtek developer and will also tell
you what you need to do to become an official Newtek Beta tester.
He told me (this was a couple months ago) that they weren't accepting any new
at that point, but you can send in the application for it if you want.
